Cervical screening deferral

Use this service to postpone your cervical screening (smear test).

You will be invited for a new screening approximately 5 to 6 weeks before the end of the deferral period.

You can use this service if you:

• are registered at the surgery
• have been invited to have a cervical screening

Before you start

We’ll ask you for:

• your first and last name, date of birth, sex, postcode, email and phone number
• if applicable, the details of the person you are completing the form on behalf of
• the reason for deferring
• the number of months you are deferring for
