Book an appointment
You can book on the day appointments at 8am, Monday to Friday.
The receptionist may ask for a brief outline of the reason for your appointment. This is to ensure you are booked in with the correct clinician and all information will remain strictly confidential. Each patient has the right to express preference as to which practitioner they would like to see; however, if you require an appointment and your preferred practitioner is not available, you will be offered an appointment with another practitioner. If you would like to see your preferred practitioner you may have to wait longer to schedule an appointment.
As we operate from four locations, if your registered practice are unable to accommodate your appointment request, you we may offer you an appointment at one of our other sites.

Home visits
The doctors do carry out home visits for patients who are housebound, frail and elderly who are more vulnerable. We ask you to call before 11am to arrange this so that we can assess the need for a visit the same day. However, this is at the doctor’s discretion and they may wish to assess your situation over the phone and advise you appropriately. It is always better for the doctor assess you in the surgery, where your full medical records and diagnostic equipment are available, which leads to a better service to yourself.
On average, four to five patients can be seen in the practice in the time it takes to do a single house call. In addition due the lack of adequate lighting, examination facilities and lack of equipment we may not be able to carry out the same procedures compared to the service you would receive in a health care setting.
To request a home visit, please:
- Call the surgery you are registered with before 11am
- Be prepared to tell the receptionist about your condition so we can prioritise the most urgent cases and arrange the most appropriate course of action
- Ensure the surgery has up to date details of your address and phone number
- Home visits are not emergency services
- Home visits should not be made on a regular occurrence
